Three strikes and your out, apparently, as HBO cancels the series Luck after the third horse dies.

Hm. Bad ratings, horse deaths and pressure from PETA seems to have come together to pull the plug on a show that was unlikely to do well in the first place.
I had never even heard of the darn thing, so I guess that goes to show just how badly things were going for the show…
