Yum! Who would have thought you could reinvent French toast?
Okay, so I think the jam thing is a bit gross because I’m not all that keen on jam in general… but you don’t have to use jam!
The thing I love about this recipe is its versatility. Jam if you like it, nutella would be so heavenly… But you could also make apple cinnamon with some apple butter in the middle and the cinnamon sugar on the outside…

“Ingredients: makes 8
8 slices white bread (soft & fresh)
1/2 cup jam, jelly, nutella, peanut butter etc
2 eggs
1 tsp milk
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbls butter for frying
