And so we say goodbye to Matt Smith as Doctor Who. Sigh.
When I first started watching Doctor Who without David Tennant, I honestly didn’t think that I would come anywhere close to really liking Matt Smith. I didn’t think he made a good fit.
But, that’s changed. I think he really made the role his own and took some of the seriousness out of it while keeping its dignity.
I’m surprised he’s going, but I can understand the need. I just hope they show him off in a grand style.
The new Doctor will certainly have interesting shoes to fill.
