“Power is being restored to the T2 domestic terminal at Sydney airport, after thousands of passengers were delayed for hours on Friday morning.
“A spokeswoman for the airport said just before midday that power was progressively returning to the terminal but the restoration works could take an hour to complete.
“A cheer rose from the crowd at Terminal 2 just after 11:30am when power returned. A few minutes before noon, the first passengers went through security.”
