“Olympic gymnastics trials kicked off in Minneapolis on Thursday, with the reigning world all-around bronze medalist Frederick Richard leading the men’s competition.
“The start of the first night of the women’s competition Friday saw several apparent injuries. Kayla DiCello was out for the night after a fall on vault, and Shilese Jones did not compete on vault after falling short in warmups.”
