“A snow squall warning is in effect for Milwaukee and Waukesha counties until 9 p.m.
“A warning is in effect for Jefferson and Walworth counties until 8:45 p.m.
“And the snow squall warning is in effect until 8:30 p.m. for for Dodge, Ozaukee, Sheboygan and Washington counties.
“More warnings are expected as the storm moves through. There was thundersnow in Fond du Lac County.
“A snow squall is like a mini-blizzard, and they generally last 30 to 60 minutes.
“According to the National Weather Service, a snow squall is an intense short-lived burst of heavy snowfall.”
