“The return of The X-Files to television is (at least for one night) a much bigger success than the return of The X-Files to movie screens.
“As reported by pretty much everyone, the first episode of the six-part X-Files mini-series debuted last night with around 13.5 million viewers.
“Now that number will be finalized over the coming days, with delayed viewing thrown in as well, but for the moment let’s look at the 13.5 million number.
“First of all, it will be interesting to see how well tonight’s second episode performs…
“But for the moment, the return of Chris Carter’s iconic 1990′s sci-fi procedural is a pretty solid success.
