I remember seeing a documentary about how it’s not until around two years of age that humans can recognise their own reflection. Up until then, no go on recognising that.
Still, I can imagine how bizarre it would be to have never seen my reflection and then suddenly get the opportunity to do so.
For a while there, they got really deep on the whole importance of appearance in regards to current society, and it totally took my whole mood down because – really – I am firmly planted on the ugly side of the spectrum.
Sigh.
