If like me you were a fan of the old Looney Tunes cartoons, then you will have spent week after week as a child wishing Roadrunner would stay still long enough for poor old Wile E. Coyote to catch him.
He never managed it, but what if he had? Would it actually have been the best thing to happen to Wile E. Coyote or would it have ruined his life? We get to find out thanks to a cartoon short from Seth MacFarlane’s Cavalcade Of Cartoon Comedy.
As was always going to be the case, Wile E. Coyote finally manages to catch Roadrunner not by ingenuity or out-thinking him but by sheer bloody luck. But no matter, because he finally got his man and cooked him for supper.
Unfortunately, after 20 years chasing Roadrunner, Wile E. Coyote has nothing to do. Until he realizes his calling in life – preaching the word of Jesus Christ. Come back Roadrunner, all is forgiven!
