While most of us are on the lookout for bigger and better homes, Dee Williams has discovered the joys of living small. This Oregon native traded in her “big house” for a homemade cottage on wheels.
Dee’s new place measures just 84 square feet, the size of your average parking space. Yet she insists she’s happy, and saving plenty of money in the meantime. I’m sure most of us would love her tiny $6 utility bill!
Living small certainly isn’t for everyone. I’m not sure I could ever get used to showering at work, or restricting myself to just 300 possessions. But in this materialistic modern world, it’s inspirational to see someone enjoying a simpler life.
