Funny Copy of Chris Farley’s SNL Skit Video | Russian TV Steals Japanese Gameshow Parody

30 sec read

I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw this clip. The skit above is a carbon copy of a Saturday Night Live skit done back in the 90’s with Chris Farley. As if making a parody of a Japanese game show wasn’t enough, the Russians had to re-make it even worse.

I’m not saying that America doesn’t have any bad remakes (The Grudge, The Ring, I could go on forever), but this level of plagarism is crazy. This is proof that Russians steal all their humor from America.

Some of you may be thinking to yourself, “Well, maybe they recycle the scripts for international versions.” Not unless Проводы Старого года с Максимом Галкиным translates to Saturday Night Live.

The Original

And just incase you still don’t believe me, here’s the original clip done a decade ago. Notice how they copied everything right down to the clothes.
