As of today, HBO will be promoting much of their content through their own YouTube channel. While this doesn’t quite mean that exclusive full episodes will be put online, it is a first step. As Joseph Giraldi, the director of partnerships states, “We are always searching for new promotional platforms.”
Don’t get too excited. HBO isn’t stupid enough to offer it’s quality content for free, but trusts that the buzz online will translate to new subscribers to their TV channel. So far, only about 60 videos have been added, and of those, the only full episodes are the first four of In Treatment.
