The Japanese Samurai, the military class of nobility who followed Bushido and were frightening with a sword, are long gone right? Wrong. This guy is a modern-day Samurai who decided to demonstrate his skills on a Japanese television show.
He’s given three challenges, getting increasingly harder in order to test his skills out. The first sees him slice the top of a mushroom, which he does very easily.
The second sees him cutting a pea pod in half horizontally while it just rests on the top of a free-standing bamboo plinth. Amazingly he does this too.
The third challenge sees him asked to cut a bullet in half as it’s fired towards him. It’s not a deadly bullet, instead being a plastic pellet but the way he slices it out of the air at speed in incredible to watch and displays almost superhuman qualities.
Lastly, he enters the studio in order to cut iron in half, a feat normally only seen in Manga cartoons. He proceeds to manage this with ease, amazing and also scaring the audience as he does so.
