Steve Harvey is laughing all the way to the bank today. His book-turned romantic comedy “Think Like A Man” took in $33 million this weekend, which knocked off ‘The Hunger Games’ top spot.

That being said, I still loathe Steve Harvey and his recycled ideas. Looking at this trailer, it’s easy to see why the film made profit- there are a TON of black celebrities in it.

At first, I couldn’t understand why “Think Like A Man” was number one- after all, there are loads of films released like it every year. However, when I found out the type of target-marketing Sony did for this movie, it makes sense.

According to CNN, the studio “targeted African american audiences” and showed screeners to historically black colleges, promoted on networks like BET, and had appearances on Harvey’s morning show.
