It’s an icky, sticky job, but somebody has to do it – and eat up all the delicious results.
To be completely honest, I have never had roasted pumpkin seeds. It was never a tradition in my family and I didn’t find out people actually ate the seeds until I was about twelve or so.
However, seeing the pretty much unlimited possibilities for what you can do with your seeds for seasoning before roasting, I think this could be a great snack to start experimenting with.
Soy and honey roasted pumpkin seeds, anyone? Or perhaps you would prefer a Tex Mex style?
