There were some “stellar” performances this week and yet some janky mess occurred with the electronic voting…the point is, some singers make audiences want to cry and Shakira was not immune to this sentiment. Let’s break down the votes!
The voting “inconsistencies” weren’t the truths revealed, however, host Carson Daly and some mystery man in a suit from the independent firm who crunches the numbers assured us that “removing those votes did not affect the outcome for any team.” Don’t worry folks, everything will be just peachy next week.
On Blake Shelton’s all-country team, America saved Holly Tucker and Danielle Bradbery which left Blake to choose between Justin Rivers and the Swon Brothers. “I’m at a loss right now,” Blake admitted. “But for the sake of keeping things as different and diverse as I can at this point, I’m gonna save the Swon Brothers.”
Shakira, who looked visibly pained and on the verge of tears as the results were announced picked Garrett, as she has repeatedly admitted to having a soft spot for him.
